Version 1.0 — last updated 17 May 2026

Terms & conditions

These terms apply to anyone subscribing to or using Sortie.run. We keep them short and in plain English. The Dutch version is the authoritative one if anything is unclear.

1.Who we are

Sortie.run is a product of DirectCoDe B.V., registered at Inkoperhof 8, 2231 HC Rijnsburg, The Netherlands, in the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 57391076, VAT number NL852560035B01.

In these terms "we", "us" or "Sortie" refers to DirectCoDe B.V. "You" or "customer" refers to the organisation (or self-employed individual) subscribing to Sortie.run.

2.The service

Sortie.run is an online service for route planning, trip recording and directing field crews. You use Sortie through the browser or the mobile app — there is nothing to install or maintain.

Your subscription includes — depending on the plan — among others:

3.Agreement and term

The agreement is formed when you complete the order flow, or when you start using a trial period. By clicking the order button you confirm that you have read and accept these terms.

Unless otherwise agreed, subscriptions are open-ended and billed monthly. Annual subscriptions have an initial term of twelve months.

A free trial ends automatically without notice. The payment obligation only kicks in when you actively choose a paid subscription afterwards.

4.Prices and payment

5.Right of withdrawal and cancellation

5.1 For consumers (private individuals)

14-day cooling-off period. If you sign up as a consumer, you have the right to withdraw within 14 days of entering into the agreement, without giving any reason. You can do so by email to support@sortie.run or via the model form below.

If you asked for immediate access during those 14 days, we will refund the unused period pro rata. We may retain the amount corresponding to the days you actually used Sortie.

5.2 For business customers

The statutory right of withdrawal under consumer law does not apply to business customers. You can still cancel a monthly subscription at any time — see section 6. For an annual subscription the agreed minimum term applies; we do our best to be reasonable if there is a good reason to stop earlier.

6.Termination

7.Use and responsibilities

8.Availability and maintenance

We aim for 99.5% availability on a calendar basis, excluding scheduled maintenance. Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 24 hours in advance and, where possible, planned outside office hours.

Report outages to support@sortie.run. We respond within one working day to reports during office hours (Mon-Fri 09:00–17:00 CET).

9.Your data

Data you enter in Sortie remains yours. You may request an export (Excel or another common format) at any time via support@sortie.run. After termination your data remains exportable for 90 days; after that it is deleted permanently, except for data we are legally required to keep (invoicing: 7 years).

How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy.

10.Liability

We do our best to keep Sortie reliable, but — to the extent permitted by law — we are not liable for indirect damages (lost profits, missed business, reputational damage). Our liability is capped per calendar year at the amount you paid in subscription fees during that year, with a maximum of €25,000.

This cap does not apply in case of intent or wilful recklessness by DirectCoDe B.V. or its directors.

11.Changes

We may amend these terms. Material changes are announced at least 30 days in advance by email. If you do not agree with a change, you may terminate the agreement effective as of the date the change takes effect.

12.Governing law

These terms and all agreements with Sortie are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are preferably resolved by mutual consultation. Failing that, they are submitted to the competent court in the district of The Hague.

Acceptance on order. By clicking the order button (or by converting a trial account to a paid subscription) you confirm that you have read and accept these terms. The version in force at that moment is recorded in our administration.
